　ほんとは、現職にいる時、うちの社員と名のつく人に全部あって握手してやりたか
った。社長を辞めて、やっとその念願を果たすことができた。
　日本国内で７００ヶ所、回るのに１年半かかったよ。それから海外の駐在員のとこ
ろを飛行機で回った。それも半年かかったもんだ。

　うちの社員でありながら、オレの顔を見たことがないのが大勢いるんだ。ことに地方
の出張所や、SFというサービス機関の社員とかね。
　一人ひとり手を握ったんだ。オレは涙が出た。むこうの若い連中も泣いたよ。

　けど、オレは士気を鼓舞するなんて気じゃない。自分が嬉しいからや
るんだ。オレは社長を辞めて、やっと人間らしいものにいきあったよ。
